The Celestron #94004 NexStar carrying case is designed to safely carry a NexStar 8 telescope (assembled OTA and fork arm/drive base, not including tripod) as well as any Celestron 9.25" or 11" Schmidt-Cassegrain or EdgeHD optical tube (with quick-release finder removed).
The case is molded from EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) copolymer to protect your telescope with a hard yet flexible shock-absorbing shell. The case comes with a convenient storage zipper pocket in the lid that holds all of your telescope's standard accessories, with room to expand.
Inside the case are two dense foam spacers and a built-in compression strap designed to customize the case for each telescope model. There is a carry handle on the side, plus durable wheels and a retractable handle (shown extended in the image) for easy transportation.
