Building HIV Care Capacity In Pakistan: “Leveraging Insights From A Joint US-Pakistani Project”

In the wake of Pakistan's 2019 HIV outbreak, a collaborative educational project emerged, uniting globally renowned American experts and clinicians in collaboration with Pakistani experts to address urgent gaps in HIV awareness, diagnosis, and care. The project, led by Brown University faculty in partnership with many other organizations, delivered three HIV courses in thirty-six sessions to Pakistani healthcare providers. This book distills insights from these intensive sessions delivered over six years, offering practical guidance on testing, treatment, stigma reduction, co-infections, and health system reforms.
